Sybase Creates World's Largest Data Warehouse, Breaking Through the One Trillion Row Threshold - equivalent to 155 Terabytes of data. Only 55 terabytes of storage space was required to store the 155 terabytes of input data, proving Sybase IQ’s patented compression dramatically reduces customers’ storage costs compared to conventional databases – which would require up to 1 petabyte (1,000 terabytes) of storage for the same amount of input data.
