Sybase PowerBuilder is an industry-leading
rapid application development (RAD) tool that increases
developer productivity through tight integration of
design, modeling, development, and management. In the
Philippines, more than 150 companies use Powerbuilder
for their software development. These include towering
corporations ABS-CBN, Accenture, Del Monte, Meralco,
7-11, Shell, PLDT, RFM, RCBC, San Miguel and URC and
Government Accounts DBM, DPWH, DECS, DOH and LTO among
others. Powerbuilder is an obvious choice when it comes
to development because of the ease of use, enabling
developers to quickly and easily build data driven
applications that businesses need to get the job done.
With over 10 million deployed seats, SQL Anywhere
is used by thousands of enterprises and ISVs worldwide,
providing data management and data exchange technologies
that enable the rapid development and deployment of
database-powered applications. SQL Anywhere offers
enterprise caliber databases that scale from 64-bit
servers with thousands of users down to small handheld
devices. SQL Anywhere’s data exchange technologies
extend information in corporate applications and enterprise
systems to databases running in mission-critical frontline
environments, such as high-performance server and desktop
applications running at remote customer sites, workgroup
applications deployed in enterprise departments and
remote offices, and mobile applications used by sales
people or service technicians.
“We are ecstatic about the new

The popularity of Sybase in the industry has shown

ICT field. We believe this partnership with Sybase
will enable STI to fill this need for the industry
and secure jobs for our students.”, said Monico
